Meet Michelle

Michelle Seekford resides in McGaheysville, VA with her husband David on his family dairy farm. She has lived in Rockingham County all of her life.

A 1994 graduate of the nursing program at Eastern Mennonite University, she also holds a Masters in Public Health from Tulane with a focus in Occupational Health and Safety, a Masters of Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Old Dominion University and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from University of South Alabama. Michelle is the founder and CEO of Valley Urgent Care and Sapphire Family Practice located in Harrisonburg. Michelle is driven to facilitate the delivery of high quality care to the community with a solutions oriented focus. Her vision is to increase access to all services and eliminate barriers to care among our most vulnerable populations. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and being outdoors.
